At the very beginning of watchmaking, every artisan created almost the entire watch, by himself. Little by little, the specialization started to crystallize. Examples are such as a repasseur (a finisher), chronometer specialist, regleur (time specialist), dial maker, hand maker, enamel specialist, guillocheur, spring specialist, box maker, etc. Today, many of these specialties are still kept active, even outside the big and well-known manufacturers. So, keeping our world alive in this era of industrialization and "e-technology" is one of our goals.
